~The Cornwall Bar Association wishes to express its condolences to Mr. Morrel Beckford and his family on the recent death of his mother.

"Dear Clayton,
The Jamaican Bar Association regrets to announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Mr Leopold O'Brian Williams.Mr Williams was an accomplished attorney and a gentleman. He served the profession with commitment and at a level of excellence. We note in particular his outstanding and longstanding contribution to the development of procedural rules and laws relative to the civil jurisdiction of the court as a member of the Rules Committee of the Supreme Court.A service of thanksgiving will be held at 10am on Friday, July 25th 2008 at the Barbican Baptist Church, 106 Barbican Road.We express our sympathy and best wishes to all members of his family. May his soul rest in peace."
